Armour changes
I noticed that the Bloodstained Boots have been altered; anyone know if any of the other "unusual" armours (ie. Knights, the Mesmer '+15 amour while casting') have been changed?
Actually, I note thaat Knights now has "non-stacking" beside it... I wonder how that interacts with runes... /ponder

the non- stacking think on knight's armor is a just a clarification of how the armor works - You get the same amount of absorbtion with 1 piece of knight's armor as with a full set (it's global). As for the absorbtion runes, they do stack on the armor's absorbtion property.

has the description of what bloodstained boots been altered? For example, staves with a 20% casting bonus now explicitly state that the 20% chance relates to getting a reduction of half in the casting time.
Does the bloodstained boots description now state what the redcution on casting time is for corpse exploiting spells?

I have also noticed the bloodstained boots, another thing i have noticed is my stoneheart - now instead of it being a 20% of faster skill recharge it halves the time of recharge. The only offhand I've noticed changed, but i wonder what other ones are like this.

they are all like that. It was always the case, Anet is now just being more specific about the nature of the bonus that the 10%/20% chance will delivery.

I just wasted yet more Fur Squares. How many Charr have to die before people stop saying this after every update?

u misinterpret this description or u have tested it ?
the description states Reduce Dmg (non-stacking), means u only need one piece to fully enjoy the -Dmg Bonus imo

I'm assuming Mergoyles are Chaos-type damage because they're Mesmers and the projectiles are the right color, but I'm not absolutely certain as there isn't anything weak or strong against Chaos. I'm pretty sure it's not physical damage though, which is all that matters.
On a side note, Absorption runes don't stack, even though their descriptions don't say "non-stacking".

Errm... I think you missed the point... It HASN'T been adressed... If anything, they just abandoned it and gave up on balancing Warrior's armor.

I remember farming Mergoyles before with Whirling Defense, which triggers with elemental damage... so you can't be so sure if it is Chaos damage. Unless Chaos = elemental.

So long as it's not physical damage, I don't really care. If I really wanted to, I could test for physical damage, but it's a waste of my time to continually go back and test Knight's armor. Not to mention the Charr resent the waste of their fur.
